Demographic data are aspects of individuals or groups of participants in a study or registry, including basic descriptive information like age (date of birth), sex, race, and ethnicity. Other examples of demographic data that may be relevant to a patient registry, survey, or study include disease diagnosis, family history of disease, income level, employment, location, and level of education.
