Drug-drug interaction
« Back to Glossary IndexA drug-drug interaction study is designed to evaluate the interaction between therapies, where the use of one may affect the disposition, efficacy, or safety of the other. For example, treating a participant with two therapies may cause the therapeutic effect of one or both of the therapies to increase or decrease. Alternatively, the two therapies may interact to cause an adverse effect that is not normally associated with either therapy.
